Patrick Ferris is a member of the National College for DUI Defense (NCDD) and the elite Georgia Defense of Drinking Drivers group (DODD). He primarily focuses on defending clients accused of alcohol-related and drug-related offenses, and also handles all types of felonies and misdemeanors, including vehicular homicide and serious injury by vehicle charges.
Mr. Ferris has been lead counsel in dozens of jury trials and hundreds of bench trials during his career, and has won acquittals in countless cases.
Mr. Ferris regularly speaks at legal seminars. As a continuing legal education speaker, Mr. Ferris teaches lawyers winning techniques for DUI cases. He has also spoken to law enforcement agencies, covering subjects from DUI case investigation to officer safety when investigating mentally ill suspects.
Unlike so many attorneys who claim to be “DUI defense specialists,” Mr. Ferris is not a plea lawyer. Although he charges a reasonable fee for representation, he thoroughly investigates and fights for his clients, because he is dedicated to the ideal of providing his clients with the best defense for a realistic fee.
